The Finest 3 Ingredient Chocolate Cake In A Cup

The Finest 3 Ingredient Chocolate Cake In A Cup -
Today when I was on my chrome book I went on YouTube for half an hour. On 5 - minute crafts and one of the videos I found a cake in a cup. I went straight to the kitchen and tried it. In our cupboards we had no nutella so I used about ¼ of a cup of chocolate chips.

Ingredients -
1 big spoon of Nutella / any kind of melted chocolate
1 egg
½ tablespoons of plain flour

1. Keep on mixing your batter until it looks like a real cake batter.
2. Place the mixture in the cup into the microwave for 1 minute.
3. Take it out of the microwave and make some cream to put on top ( optional )
4. Taste and enjoy!!!

  1. Hi Rylee
What a great idea to make a 'cake in a cup'. I am intrigued by the ingredients...did it taste like a chocolate cake?
I might have to give this a try, I don't have Nutella either so I will try the chocolate chip idea. Thanks for the tip! Does your recipe mean a 1/2 tablespoons of plain flour?
I hope you are well and enjoying your holiday break.
    Bye for now

  2. Hi Rylee
Your recipe sound great. How long did it take to make? I would love to try this. I don't have Nutella either so if I make it I will use the chocolate chip idea. Thanks for the idea on that! What else can I use other than a Microwave because we don't own one?
    Stay well and safe!

  3. Hi Rylee,
I might try this for Mr Shaw's pudding tonight! No Nutella in this house - hope there are some choc chips! What size cup did you use? Is there no baking powder in the recipe? Did you have any ideas for Hayley who doesn't have a microwave? Could she steam it?
