Nature Artwork

This week for school our teacher gave room 4 a task to make a incredible bit of artwork all from nature. I thought I might as well do something different to what everyone else would do so I did . . .
A heart shaped out of flax / harakeke. Once I had a shape of a heart that I was happy with I added Autumn leaves and lots of other things.
This is how it turned out . . .

  1. Hi Rylee
I love the idea of using harakeke as a base and creating a heart shape on which to add other materials, It looks very effective.
There is such an abundance of natural materials to choose from at the moment with falling autumn leaves.
Have you seen mushrooms and toadstools growing around your farm as well? Autumn really is one of my favourite seasons.
    Thanks for sharing your work.
    Take care

    1. Hi Mrs Bennett
Arlo helped me collect my materials to make my creation. He has been playing with his pack that the goverment gave him.
      Thankyou

  2. Hello Rylee
I like all the detail you have added to your heart using natural materials. Using your wooden deck is a great background to your art work. I have created something from natural materials for Ben's ANZAC competition. Are you going to put your creative skills into making something to enter?
    Well done Rylee

  3. Hi Rylee,
I love your art work with its contrasting colours. The layout is very effective with the wooden table offering another lovely natural colour. What will your next project be? Does your little brother want to help?
It is nice to see how you are using this time.

  4. Hi Mrs Shaw
Arlo helped me collect everything from our farm and he really enjoyed it as well as me. My next creation I've already started it's for Ben Fisher's ANZAC art competition. Arlo is also doing alot of his learning that got sent to him from the goverment. He is really enjoying it!
    Thankyou

  5. Hi Rylee Your creation is very effective, using the deck as a background was a good idea. Nice that you had your little helper Arlo to collect materials with you. I'm looking froward to seeing what you create for Ben's ANZAC competition. Mrs Bayley
