Weet- bix Tryathlon

People were cheering on their kids from the sideline while me and Jessica were waiting patiently with excitement, the nerves were kicking in even though we were the last group. We lined up like brave soldiers. (even though it was only a Weet-bix Tryathlon not war) before we knew it these words came out of a man's mouth . . . ON YOUR MARKS GET SET GO!! So a group of 11 year old girls sprinted into the pool. The bright light beaming on us.

We ran out ripping our cap off. I threw it to Jessica's auntie running to the bikes searching for my bike. I found it wandering out to the road so I could jump on and take off. There were many people cheering for me. The 1st lap was done for the 2nd lap I sighed. Jessica and I put our arms together and made a bridge and the people took a photo. We were getting close to the Olympic pools. We jumped off our bike and put it away as we started to sprint to the finish.

We grabbed a drink of water on the way to the finish then threw it onto the ground. Heading towards the finish line people were cheering and yelling. COME ON YOU CAN DO IT! We carried on and strived for the end. Crossing the finish line felt like a relief, getting the medal made me feel I did really well.
