Lorde
Today I was learning about Lorde the singer and finding facts about her.
I enjoyed finding out her real name.
I found it challenging to remember the letter E at the end of Lorde.
My digital learning object shows that I know what I'm doing and what I'm using.
Next time I would change the person I research.

The Gisborne SIX60 Conset
One Saturday me and my family went to the beach to see SIX60's new album they shared with Gisborne. I'm one of those people that I just really love music and singing. Do you like music and singing? Do you know who SIX60 are? Whats your favourite music?
I could name all of SIX60's songs if I really wanted to thats how much I love music. On Thursdays in class room four have a incredible teacher Mrs Allan who takes half of the school for singing. I'm one of the best lead and harmony girls.
At the SIX60 conset people were going wild and people were also going to their cars with their mates and drinking. It was great I could of lissened to them sing for hours and hours. But sadly they were only there to stay to sing their new album since Gisborne won the voting on where they would be. At the end there was a massive line with a coulpe of thousand people in the line paying $20 to get a picture or something signed.
By the way I've been listening to SIX60 this whole time I wrote this story.
SIX60's full playlist . . .
- Don't forget your roots in Maori
- Don't forget your roots
- Rivers
- Don't give up
- Someone to be around
- Up there
- Closer
- The greatest

- Green bottles
- Vibes
- Special

I feel . . . the sharp, pointy thistles clawing into my leg.
I hear . . . turkeys gobbling loudly in my ear.
I taste . . . a big gust of a strong, gnarly wind.
I smell . . . the bright purple lavender bushes, while sneaking around them.
I see . . . a set of antlers pocking in the distance up in the bushy hills.

Maths 2 digit multiplication
24/9/2019 I figured out how to do 2 digit multiplication in maths. All the days before the 24th I was clueless on how to do it. Mrs Bennett could polygons my maths group down to the white table to help us with our book work and it was 2 digit multiplication. As Mrs Bennett was explaining all I could think was this is going to be so hard but really when I went back to my table I whizzed through the questions just like that. Lot's of the other kids got the same answer and Mrs Bennett said well I got a different answer and I went running over to the other table and said "WHAT NUMBER WAS THAT?"
And they said that it was number 6 then I told them what my answer was for number 6 and I got the same answer as Mrs Bennett. She was so impressed with me because she thought that she was wrong but when she heard that I had said the same answer as her she said give me a high five so I did. I was so happy after that I didn't want maths to end. The next day before the bell went I carried on with my maths then the bell rang and Mrs Bennett said that we aren't doing maths first.
I was devastated. Mrs Bennett saw my face and said did you want to carry on with the 2 digit multiplication? Do you like doing it? I nodded and said yes. But that's my story of how I learnt how to do 2 digit multiplication. What's your story?
The Big Tent Full Of Surprises
Be amazed by incredible acts, tricks and loads more . . .
Backflip here and backflip there they were everywhere showing off the amazing talent. We arrived at the Gisborne circus wondering what they would pull out of there sleeves tonight. I bought a bag of candyfloss and an L&P, it was delicious! We sat down and it was packed with people, there was also amazing flower, dot's and lot's more things up on the roof for the people that had to wait until 7:00pm. But that's enough about me and there are some questions just down here.
Have you ever been to a circus before?
If you've been to a circus what was your favourite act?
How many circuses have you been to?
Bang Crash Slam light's come on and if your happy and you know it comes on there were little kids dancing up the front while everyone else is sitting down clapping and laughing. It goes pitch black and the curtains closed so they could get ready for the next act to come on stage. In the distance, you could see a dark shadow with a table and some chairs. Faster than a click and a blink the lights suddenly switched back on and there looked like two 8-9-year-olds climbing up crooked chairs and doing crazy tricks. With another magic touch of the light switch in went darkened. The crazy clowns came back out giving kids high fives and bringing them up on stage to do some skipping with a skipping rope. Once they had finally all finished skipping there were many more acts and many more bags of candy floss.

Amazing Taniwha Slow Writing
Kia Ora, this master piece of writing is called slow writing and I did it on Taniwha's. Slow writing is when you use something different in each sentence (something descriptive.) I hope you enjoy reading my writing.
Claws are as shiny as gold.Slowly creeping into the village square.Sharpening their claws on trees.“Kia ora I’m the big scary Taniwha also known as king of the lagoon.”In the village square under a tall apple tree where I sharpen my claws.
This blog post shows that I'm a Stepping Up Blogger.
I hope you enjoyed reading my Taniwha slow writing.
Have you ever done slow writing before?

Respect Posters
Today I finished making a respect poster. The last few Fridays room 4 has been working on a poster each and its all about what respect is, looks like, and feels like. We could choose if we wanted to do it digitally, hand drawn or you could do a bit of bought. I choose to do a bit of bought so I started by getting a new google drawing and making a big bold bright tittle. Next I made a fresh document on google docks and wrote down all the things about and what respect means I was able to write two pages. The last thing I had to do was find a image/picture that means respect but I couldn't find anything good enough so I made a wordle and it says respect all over it I also made the shape a blob of paint.
Respect means...
- You have to show respect wherever you are even if you are in town, your school and at home you should be showing respect wherever you are.
- Using the golden rule. You might think what is the golden rule is? The golden rule is... Treat people how you want to be treated.
- Respect is not only people but everything else around you.
- Respecting your community.
If you want to be respectful you have to...
- Help clean up
- Feed the animals
- Take care of your siblings
- If you live on a farm go out with your dad and help by opening gates, separate the sheep really anything
