Maths 2 digit multiplication

24/9/2019 I figured out how to do 2 digit multiplication in maths. All the days before the 24th I was clueless on how to do it. Mrs Bennett could polygons my maths group down to the white table to help us with our book work and it was 2 digit multiplication. As Mrs Bennett was explaining all I could think was this is going to be so hard but really when I went back to my table I whizzed through the questions just like that. Lot's of the other kids got the same answer and Mrs Bennett said well I got a different answer and I went running over to the other table and said "WHAT NUMBER WAS THAT?"

And they said that it was number 6 then I told them what my answer was for number 6 and I got the same answer as Mrs Bennett. She was so impressed with me because she thought that she was wrong but when she heard that I had said the same answer as her she said give me a high five so I did. I was so happy after that I didn't want maths to end. The next day before the bell went I carried on with my maths then the bell rang and Mrs Bennett said that we aren't doing maths first.

I was devastated. Mrs Bennett saw my face and said did you want to carry on with the 2 digit multiplication? Do you like doing it? I nodded and said yes. But that's my story of how I learnt how to do 2 digit multiplication. What's your story?
